Karen began practising mindfulness over 6 years ago after a long career as a registered nurse. Discovering the transformative powers of the life enhancing skills of mindfulness, Karen was keen to share this with others & chose to train with Breathworks to become an accredited mindfulness & meditation teacher 2 years ago. Karen teaches both the Breathworks Mindfulness for Stress course (for those with stress, anxiety & depression) & the Mindfulness for Health course (for those with chronic pain & long term health conditions.) Karen also introduces basic mindfulness & meditation skills to those who want an introduction to the practices involved in order to improve their sense of well being, reduce stress, pain & anxiety.
