Kinesiology

Kinesiology is a form of natural healthcare that uses non invasive and gentle muscle testing (as a type of body language) to find imbalances within the body. It works from the perspective that different muscles relate to different organs and healing systems in the body. Once any problem areas have been identified, acupressure massage, nutritional suggestions, and other new thinking techniques may also be utilised to restore balance. It works most effectively from the perspective of preventing problems before they arise, but it can also be beneficial for people who are experiencing a range of complaints that sometimes can not be explained medically.

Bowen Therapy

Fascia is a word we usually associate with the roofing industry relating to ‘bands of material’ joining one surface to another. In the human body it is the emerging science of the connective tissue, an elastic and often inelastic structural system that encompasses, wraps round and contributes to stability, flexibility function and movement. Recipients are generally fully clothed. Each session typically involves gentle rolling motions along the muscles, tendons and fascia. The therapy’s distinctive features are the minimal nature of the physical intervention and pauses incorporated in the treatment. These pauses allow the body to “reset” itself.

Acupuncture

Acupuncture treatment aims to restore your body's equilibrium, looking at pain and illness as signs that your body is out of balance. According to Chinese Medicine Theory there are five main energy systems in the body, namely the respiratory, cardiovascular, digestive, renal and blood. It is by working with these energy systems that Traditional Acupuncture is able to look deeply into your constitution in order to treat the underlying causes of a wide spectrum of conditions. Acupuncture treatment focuses on improving overall wellbeing, treating the cause of the condition and preventing the return of symptoms.

Reiki

Reiki is a Japanese technique for stress reduction and relaxation that also promotes healing. It is administered by “laying on hands” and is based on the idea that an unseen “life force energy" flows through us and is what causes us to be alive. If one’s life force energy is low, then we are more likely to get sick or feel stress, and if it is high, we are more capable of being happy and healthy.

Counselling

Counselling – A number of talking therapies are offered in the house which help with deep-set emotional challenges and goals. Types offered: Emotional Therapeutic Counselling, Solution Focussed Hypnotherapy, CBT, NLP and EFT

and much more....

Holistic health doesn't look at the symptoms specifically. It looks at the whole person, their energy levels and seeks to understand where the imbalances are in the body. Our therapists work together as a team to help you meet your well-being goals.
