Singing Workshop at The Sangha House – Next Event 8th September 2018

Emma has experienced first-hand the benefits of singing to her wellbeing, social life and general health and now wishes to bring these great benefits to others. This session will focus initially on the basics of singing, including posture and breathing. There is no requirement to read music, we will get moving, singing and most importantly having fun!

Emma has been a musician since the age of 10, singing and playing trumpet and cornet. Growing up, she performed with various ensembles before fulfilling her dream of becoming an Army Musician at 21. During her time in the military she performed as a vocalist and a trumpeter at many prestigious and state ceremonial events and was also a vocalist for the Army Big Band. Since leaving the Army in 2017, due to injury, she has filled her time with as much music as possible. She is currently performing with the Arcadia Jazz Band and teaching singing.

£5 for members, £16 for non-members.
