Mindful Compassion at The Sangha House

This will be an extremely special weekend for the Sangha House. Our standard Yoga and Pilates sessions will be running but these will also be themed with Compassion. Choden will be leading two meditations for us across the weekend plus two special workshops on the Saturday and the Sunday afternoons.

Choden left his career as a lawyer to become a monk (for seven years). He is now involved in devel-oping secular mindfulness and compassion programs drawing upon the wisdom and methods of the Buddhist tradition, as well as contemporary insights from psychology and neuroscience. He is an honorary fellow of the University of Aberdeen and teaches on their postgraduate study program in mindfulness (MSc), that is the first of its kind to include compassion in its curriculum. He teaches worldwide and sits on the Mindfulness Summit with other renowned teachers Jon Kabat-Zinn, Jack Kornfield and Ruby Wax.
