This classes focus on the prevention of injury by using methods to reduce restriction within the body tissues (foam rolling, massage balls), strengthening the body using bodyweight and balance exercises and stretches to elongate and re-condition the tissues. Bands are also used for stability work
The Pre-hab class consists of a mobility warm-up where we just move each major joint in all directions, some dynamic movement, rollering and/or ball work, an element of strength work – usually core and other areas. We focus on a specific area each week eg. hips, thoracic, feet etc.
Excellent for people engaging in sport who wish to protect themselves from injury.
